Winnipeg police investigate financial institution robbery

The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect.

On Friday, March 4, a male threatened a female teller with a bomb and demanded money at a financial institution in the 1800 block of Main St.

The man was given an undisclosed amount of cash before he fled from the institution.

The suspect is described as Middle Eastern in appearance, around 35 to 40 years-old,  about 5’10” – 5’11” tall, medium build, dark hair, slight facial hair with a moustache.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect (pictured above) is asked to investigators with the Major Crimes Unit at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
