Winnipeg Police Seek Two Suspects In Three Shootings

Winnipeg, MB – Investigations into two separate shooting incidents on November 28, 2016, have led Winnipeg police to the same two men.

The first victim, 39-year-old Benjamin Franklin Traverse, was shot and critically injured in the 400 block of Pritchard Avenue. He has since succumbed to his injuries.

The suspects then robbed two additional victims, forced them into a vehicle and drove them to East St. Paul. The two were then shot before the suspects fled the area in the same vehicle.

Wanted: Fless and Jewels

Police are looking for Michael Tylor Fless, 30, and James Andrew Jewels, 26.

Fless is Caucasian, 5’4″ tall and 138lbs. Jewels is Aboriginal, 5’10” tall and 166lbs. They are both wanted for attempted murder, kidnapping, robbery and firearm related offences. Fless is also wanted for second degree murder.
