BRANDON, MB — The following are Brandon Police Service bulletins for Tuesday, January 31st:
Jetting off to jail
A 28-year-old Winnipeg man was arrested by RCMP officers at Winnipeg’s airport.
He was wanted by Brandon police on an endorsed warrant for breach of probation.
The man was released on a promise to appear in court sometime in February.
Walking With Weapons
A 28-year-old Brandon woman is facing charges after police spotted her walking down the street.
It happened Monday afternoon in the 900-block of Victoria Avenue in Brandon.
Officers who spotted her identified her as a wanted woman.
She was searched and police found a large knife in her purse.
The suspect has probation orders not to possess any weapons.
She was detained at the Brandon Correctional Centre and remains behind bars.
