Brandon Police Bulletins For February 1st

BRANDON, MB — The following are Brandon Police Service bulletins for Wednesday, February 1st:

Sexual Assault and Interference

A 21-year-old Winnipeg man is facing charges after turning himself in to Brandon police.

He was wanted by Portage RCMP for Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, Breach of Recognizance, and Breach of Probation.

Police detained the man at the Brandon Correctional Centre ahead of a Wednesday morning court appearance.

Assault with a Weapon

A 23-year-old Brandon man also turned himself into police.

He was wanted for Arrest for Assault, Assault with a weapon, Uttering Threats, Overcome Resistance, and Breach of Probation.

The suspect spent the night at the Brandon Correctional Centre.

He had a date in court set for Wednesday morning.

No Show and Perjury

A wanted 49-year-old man is behind bars after Brandon police finally caught up with him.

He’s facing charges of Perjury and Fail to Attend Court.

Police detained the man at the Brandon Correctional Centre where he remains in custody.
