VIRDEN, MB. — Two people from Virden are facing a number of drug related charges.
RCMP raided a home under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act back on February 3rd.
They found cocaine, crack cocaine, magic mushrooms, drug paraphernalia, a gun, a knife, cash, and cellphones with multiple SIM cards.
22-year-old Jenna Mallette and 26-year-old Kasey Packham were arrested.
They’ve been charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Proceeds of Crime, and two counts of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
Both were released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
The investigation continues.
