WINNIPEG, MB. — Four men face charges following a high speed chase in Winnipeg.
It happened around 4:00am Thursday near Charles Street in the North End.
Police noticed the stolen vehicle and tried to pull it over, but it fled.
The vehicle made its way to westbound Portage Avenue where it slowed down before crashing into a building in the 1900-block.
Police say the suspects then fled on foot, but they were tracked down by the K-9 unit a short distance away.
Two firearms were also recovered from the vehicle.
Numerous criminal charges are pending against the suspects.
The investigation continues.
