WINNIPEG, MB. — Winnipeg police are looking for two men after an armed robbery downtown.
It happened Saturday around 9:30pm at a transit stop near Vaughan Street and Portage Avenue.
A 22-year-old man was waiting for the bus when the two robbers approached him.
One ripped the victim’s phone from his hand while the second demanded money.
The first suspect then whipped out a gun and threatened the victim before they both fled on foot.
Suspect One
Suspect one is described as Aboriginal in appearance, aged 18-23, 5’9″ tall with a slim build, and long hair.
Suspect Two
Suspect two is described as Aboriginal in appearance, 6’3″ in height, with a slim build.
The Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate.
