BRANDON, MB. — Brandon police are investigating after a car hit a child.
It happened just after 5:00pm Wednesday at the intersection of 26th Street and Richmond Avenue.
Police say the northbound vehicle turned off 26th Street eastbound onto Richmond Avenue.
The 11-year-old victim was crossing the street on a two-wheeled scooter.
He or she was rushed to hospital with minor leg injuries.
No charges have been laid, but the investigation continues.
