BRANDON, MB. — A 50-year-old Brandon man is facing charges for carelessly storing a couple of guns.
Brandon police began investigating back on May 11th after receiving a tip about firearms inside the home.
Officers raided a residence in the 100-block of 1st Street on Monday.
Inside they found two .22 caliber rifles and ammunition laying around the home.
The suspect was located later in the day, arrested, and charged.
He’s accused of two counts of Careless Storage of a Firearm and two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.
The man was released on a promise to appear in court in August.
