WINNIPEG, MB – Winnipeg Police have arrested two people for suspected methamphetamine trafficking.
The arrests were made by the Winnipeg Police Service Street Crime Unit in the 1000 block of Powers Street.
A man in his 30’s, and a woman in her 20’s were busted. They’ve been charged with possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possessing proceeds of property obtained by crime.
Both have been released on a promise to appear in court.
The total value of meth seized is 1.6 kilograms, worth $240,000. Police also found cash at the scene.
