BRANDON, MB. — Brandon police have captured a brazen shoplifter.
It happened back on June 20th in the 1000-block of Richmond Avenue.
The accused allegedly walked out the front door with an entire shopping cart of merchandise.
Cameras at the store got a clean shot. They helped police pin the suspect to two similar crimes.
Those happened back on June 3rd and June 12th.
Brandon police spotted him on the street and arrested a 38-year-old man.
He’s been charged with three counts of Theft Under $5,000.
The accused was inebriated at the time of his arrest, so he was detained in the Brandon Correctional Centre’s drunk tank.
He will be released once sober on a promise to appear in court in August.
