Two men face charges after Winnipeg Police discovered a marijuana grow-op in a West End home.
On Dec. 22, police searched a home in the 800 block of Burnell Street and found 221 marijuana plants worth an estimated street value of $247,540. They also found $930 cash and grow equipment worth $7,565.
A 42-year-old man and a 47-year-old man were arrested without incident. They both face charges of marijuana production and possession for the purpose of trafficking. The 42-year-old also faces an additional charge of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.
Both men were released on a promise to appear.
