Morden Police Bulletins

Morden, MB – Take a look at some of the events Morden Police responded to in the past week:

There were 71 total calls for service, including 4 assaults and 7 highway traffic act offences.

On November 21, Morden Police, Winkler Police, and the RCMP targeted drug trafficking and criminal activity. Several individuals were charged with various offenses, and one person was found guilty of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.

On November 23, there was a report received of a hit and run that had taken place on November 19. It happened in the parking lot of the Access Event Centre in Morden. The damaged vehicle is a 2013 brown Honda Civic. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Morden Police Service at 822-4900, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, submit a secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com or text “TIPMAN” plus your message to CRIMES (274637).

On November 25, police received a call about a domestic disturbance involving a male and female. The female, along with a child, both indicated that the male had slapped the female, and he was arrested for assault. He has been charged with one count of assault as well as one count of breach of probation.

On November 26, police received a report of mischief to a vehicle. It is possible the mischief – which included scratches along the trunk and rear driver’s side panel – may have happened in Morden. The vehicle in question is a 2014 red Dodge Dart that was in the Tim Hortons Parking Lot.
