WINNIPEG, MB. — Two people from Winnipeg are facing charges following five violent robberies.
Winnipeg police say the spree began Wednesday afternoon.
A 28-year-old man and 19-year-old woman approached the victims with knives and demand their belongings.
One victim was slashed and required treatment in hospital.
Policed tracked them down just after 11:00pm that night.
Randal Gladue and Samantha Stevenson have been charged with Possess Weapon for dangerous purpose, Possess Prohibited weapon, and five counts of Robbery.
Both also face drug possession and breach of court order charges.
The remain behind bars.
