Brandon Crime Briefs For Monday, May 22nd

BRANDON, MB. — The following are Brandon Police Service crime briefs for Monday, May 22nd:

Turning Myself In

A 25-year-old Brandon man has turned himself into police.

He allegedly stole a television from a store in the 300-block of 18th Street North.

The man also admitted to other thefts.

Brandon police charged him with Theft Under $5,000.

He was released on a promise to appear in court in July.

Business Compound

Brandon police are investigating after a stolen vehicle was discovered outside a home.

It happened Sunday evening just after 8:00pm in the 300-block of Durum Drive.

A homeowner said a vehicle with business decals was sitting outside the residence.

It had extensive damage to the undercarriage.

An investigation revealed the vehicle had been taken from a compound in the 2200-block of Park Avenue early that morning.

Brandon police continue to investigate.
