WINNIPEG, MB. — Winnipeg police are investigating after two reports of shots being fired in the West End.
The first happened around 11:00pm Sunday in the 500-block of Balmoral Street.
Responding officers found evidence a firearm had been discharged in the back lane.
Later, around 5:20am Monday, Winnipeg police were again called on reports of shots being fired.
It happened in the back lane of the 500-block of Sherbrook Street.
Evidence of a firearm being discharged was also found at that scene.
Winnipeg police believe the incidents are connected.
No injuries were reported and no suspects have been identified.
