Winnipeg police have made a substantial drug bust after executing a search warrant in Fort Garry.
Last July, investigators became aware of possible drug trafficking out of a home in the first 100-block of Riverside Drive.
Officers descended on the residence Wednesday where they discovered large quantities of more than a dozen drugs, including mushrooms, crack cocaine, and fentanyl.
Three people within the residence were arrested for their alleged involvement and are facing numerous charges.
Police say some of those drugs were previously stolen from a home in the 100-block of Smithfield Avenue.
Scott George Paterson, 37 of Winnipeg, is accused of possessing methamphetamine, psilocybin, and cocaine for the purposes of trafficking. He is also charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order.
A 38-year-old woman from Winnipeg is also accused of possessing methamphetamine, psilocybin, and cocaine for the purposes of trafficking. She has been charged with theft under $5,000.
A 54-year-old man was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
